Group PicIt was a very important Election Day in Mrs. Wetterling’s 1st grade!  The class was voting for “BEST STORYBOOK CHARACTER”!  The nominees were Pete the Cat, the Cat in the Hat, and Biscuit.  Students worked in groups listing reasons why others should vote for their character.  Then the voting began!  Congratulations to Biscuit!!  The 1st graders all agreed that even if they didn’t vote for Biscuit, they can still support him and be happy that he was voted best storybook character!  It’s okay to have different opinions, but we still need to get along and be kind and respectful to each other!
